Chrysalis Ministries provides specialized support to youth and young adults, aged 16-24, who are justice-involved or who are not working or in school. Chrysalis offers tailored case management and mentorship to help individuals overcome challenges and meet their goals. Its services include job readiness and career assistance, education and GED support, and mental health resources through referrals and workshops. Additionally, it offers life skills workshops addressing financial literacy, conflict resolution, and independent living. Operating Tuesday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Chrysalis Ministries encourages appointments for case management, though walk-ins are also welcome.

American Indians in Texas at the Spanish Colonial Missions (AIT-SCM) offers a Youth Leadership Development (YLD) program that meets at The Spot every Tuesday from 10 am-12 pm. This leadership and mentorship program is for youth and young adults aged 16-24* and runs 10 weeks (and may be extended upon request). For participating in this program to learn about becoming young adults, AIT offers retreats, activities, and fun incentives. AIT also offers case management for personal and family services. (*At other sites, AIT serves youth starting at age 11.)

Connection Center in San Antonio offers Peer Support services for mental health and wellness, including wellness workshops and Peer Support in groups or one-on-one. Certified Peer Specialists provide these services using a recovery-oriented, person-centered, relationship-focused, and trauma-informed approach. The Connection Center’s aim with all it offers is to empower clients through problem-solving, voice-finding, and overall empowerment.

Restore Education, based in San Antonio, Texas, offers no-cost educational programs designed to empower individuals to advance their education and launch careers in in-demand fields. Their comprehensive services include high school equivalency (GED) preparation, college readiness support, English language classes, and career readiness training across various sectors. The programs cater to diverse student needs, providing flexible, individualized learning paths, assessments, tutoring, and job placement support.
